I designed this type specimen as part of a larger final-project for a typography class that I took while studying design at La Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.

The assignment was to create a type specimen for Rockwell and design a logo and packaging prototypes for a fictitious beer company using only that font.

My teammates took the lead on the prototype design, while I designed this type specimen. We had the book printed and bound in hardcover for our presentation.

Although it wasn’t required, to make it a more cohesive project I extended the beer theme into the type specimen design, making use of patterns, vector imagery, and a tight color palette to really make it pop.
