Black History Month Calendar, 2020
In February 2020, Wesleyan University’s Black Student Union, Ujamaa, celebrated Black History Month with the theme, “Beyond 1619: Lineages & Legacies”.
That January, I collaged and designed these posters in Photoshop and InDesign for the official BHM events calendar.
The Black Figures Project
The Black Figures Project was created during Wesleyan University’s 2020 Black History Month celebration to draw attention towards some notable accomplishments of Black achievers throughout the diaspora.
In December, 2019 to January, 2020, I designed these posters to be printed and hung around the Wesleyan and greater Middletown Community.
