Relief Printmaking & Letterpress, 2018 – 2019
At Wesleyan, I learned to use inked woodblocks, carvings, handset type, and laser engraved materials on the letterpress amongst other relief printmaking techniques.
These are some of the prints (and proof prints) that I created during my time in the print shop.

Part of my process was creating digital mockups like these in order to laser cut + engrave the printing blocks.
These files were created for Forbidden Fruit (2018), a series of nine prints of increasingly rotting fruits.
I after I cut the blocks on the laser engraver, I sealed and adhered them to MDF board and printed them on the letterpress with rolled ink on white paper. I printed three editions.
During quarantine, I’ve been exploring using the relief prints as part of my gif-making process.
